Travel Agencies from China visit Wakayama

On October 27th, 6 travel agencies from Guangdong, China were invited for the international event for travel agencies at the Royal Pines Hotel in Wakayama City sponsored by Nara and Wakayama prefectures.

16 Japanese agencies including the Tanabe City Kumano Tourism Bureau were in attendance.

The Chinese market is shifting from group tour towards FIT travel with the restrictions of visas for Chinese tourists.  Wakayama prefecture has many attractive tourism possibilities including world heritage, Onsens, and local foods.

We were happy to meet these new travel agencies and with them success in their new tourism vision.
